Ok, 5 days and counting!! I sureley hope that you have your favourite rig sorted, and pretty much most of your fishing gear in order......
This is how the money side of things are looking. After minor discussions with most of the members, it seems like a money kitty will be the go. The idea is that we ad the money into the kitty and pay for everything and split the difference at the end of the trip. Keep in mind that none of us wants to spend a lot of money, so the aim is to be as cheap as possible. The flipside however is that we will be living, eating and sh**ting at a campsite 200kms north of nowhere, so we still want to make sure that we are comfortable. I would much rather over budget and get some money back, than under budget and have to dig into the credit card while we are up there.
I have noted the probable costs per person:
Accomodation: $83
Petrol: $150
Bait: $20
Food: $80
TOTAL: $333
I suggest we put in $350 each. I suspect that will get away with less, but it pays to be prepared. Let me know what you think. I am happy to take care of the money matters, but if the team wants to, we can vote in a member to be the financial caretaker.
Also, I have purchased 20 break out sinkers at a rate of $2.75 each. You can get them of me at that rate.
I am currently devising a menu which I propose on the weekend before we go food shopping. We can then amend, or redesign it!
Tight lines
